What is Authors?
Authors extension displays all of the user who have contributed to the article. They are displayed at the bottom of the article, in the form of their user images/avatars.
Usage / Features
Every user can control what image will be displayed as their image in the list of authors, by changing their profile image. For more about user profile images read here
If user has not uploaded an image, its personalized avatar will be shown.
In case the user who has contributed to the page is not registered/logged in, it was deleted since it made the contribution, or is for any other reason non-existant, image with yellow question mark will be displayed.
By hovering over the image of an author, its username will be displayed and clicking the image will lead to that user's page.
Number of authors displayed, and if authors will be displayed at all, can be configured on BlueSpice preferences page (Special:BlueSpice preferences). In case there are more contributors to the page than the limit allows to be shown, icon representing "more" will be shown.
Displaying Authors can also be achieved for a single page by placing behaviour switch on the page.
This extension does not require any special rights. All users having "read" permission for the article can also see the authors of that article.
